Mark E. Robbins Appointed Executive Director of the Yellow Ribbon Fund

The Board of Directors of the Yellow Ribbon Fund has selected Mark E. Robbins as its new Executive Director effective March 1, 2008. Mr. Robbins brings twenty-five years of experience in the non-profit arena to the fund, including work in membership, management, organization, marketing and communications.

According to James S. Bugg, Sr., Chairman of the YRF's Board of Directors, "Mark's appointment will help the Yellow Ribbon Fund grow and expand as we face the challenge of continuing to help our injured service members as they leave the Washington, D.C. area and return home."

Mr. Robbins' previous positions included serving as the Vice President, Membership & Communications, for the Career College Association. In addition he held leadership positions in The Community Associations Institute, The Manufacturing Institute and the American Subcontractors Association. He also worked as the Assistant Director of Admissions for Marymount University in Virginia and Marian College in Indiana.

Mr. Robbins earned a B.A. in Political Science from Penn State University and did graduate study at George Mason University and Indiana University. He earned a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in 1998.
